TO ALL THE FALLARMES IN AMERICA & CANADA,

First of all, allow me to greet all of you a very HAPPY NEW MILLENNIUM on behalf of my family and on behalf of the FALLARMES here in the Philippines. May this new millennium bring PEACE, HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY, UNITY AND CLOSER RELATIONS among each and every FALLARME wherever they may be,

I hope that by this time you have already finalized your plans in attending our GRAND FALLARME REUNION which will be held in SIBALE from May 5 to 7 this year as I assume that you have long been informed of this event since last year. We are very much excited about this millennium event and we can hardly wait to meet most of you, if not all of you coming from the land of milk and honey. We will be pleased to know if you are coming so that we can make special preparations for you. For what could be more historic and memorable than to experience this opportunity with all our relatives in the beginning of this new century in our place of origin and in this year of Jubilee? And befitting this occasion, we have chosen, "STRENGTH IN UNITY, NURTURING RELATUIONSHIPS AND LEAVING A LEGACY" as our theme.

We are now in the midst of preparation to ensure success of this great undertaking which may not happen again for many years to come. Various activities have been lined up to ensure the participation and enjoyment of all attendees and most of all, to fulfill our mission through our chosen theme. You will be pleased to know that in keeping with the FALLARME spirit, we will be conducting outreach activities such as medical and dental missions, distribution of used/unused clothing, distribution of used/unused toys and other give-away and project launching such as the Fallarme library and tree planting. These activities are meant to benefit not only the Sibale community but also to create a lasting impact that will enhance the FALLARME legacy in the years to come.

Another highlight that we are considering during this celebration is to give due recognition to all deserving FALLARMES (living or dead, young and old) for their exemplary and extraordinary achievements. This will be in the area of achievements in their academic fields, in profession, in business, in their contribution to the upliftment of the FALLARME name, in their contribution to the community and the like. If you feel like nominating anyone, please send all relevant data with supporting documents to the undersigned not later than March 31, 2000 for proper evaluation. We have created a special committee for this purpose. We will appreciate receiving your inputs, suggestions or comments on this matter as early as possible.

To finance these activities, we are appealing to your generosity and kind-heartedness by way of financial contribution from all concerned Fallarmes. After several meetings and lengthy deliberations, the Executive & Organizing Committees finally agreed that a modest contribution of at least US $50 per family (husband and wife plus unmarried unemployed children) or US $15 for each employed children is reasonable. In the Philippines we are requesting a contribution of P 1500.00 only per family or P 500.00 only per employed children. We feel that these monetary investments are not so much if we compare the benefits that will be derived from it. You will be relieved to know that these amounts or its equivalent are acceptable even to our less fortunate relatives in Sibale. Of course, they are just the minimum and we are hoping that those who have been abundantly blessed will share more. Indeed, there are already some who have given more and we are grateful for their generosity while also praying that there will be more like them. Your contributions will go a long way to also achieve one of our objectives of allowing our less fortunate relatives who are living outside Sibale the opportunity to attend and participate in this grand celebration.

To assist us in this endeavor, we have designated ARVIN (BING) F. FALLARME to be our coordinator for America including Canada. In his two-week stay here in the Philippines last November and December, Arvin has shown his deep commitment to the FALLARME name and to the fullment of our mission through our chosen theme. Combined by his aggressiveness, knowledge of the Fallarme history and his youth, we have no doubt that Arvin can contribute his time, energy and resources to the success of this present and future undertakings. Of course, this is not to say that there are others who are not concerned and committed like him, as we are sure there are plenty. Worth mentioning in this case are Tang Ponso, Manong Ponieng, Manong Lauding, Pepe & Nonoy Rafols, to name a few. For this reason, we are requesting each and every FALLARME to give Bing and company all the necessary support, guidance and cooperation. Perhaps, you can form a "team", if it’s the best thing to do.

We will therefore appreciate if you can send the following thru Arvin: (1) your financial contribution soonest possible (2) other give-away like used/unused clothing and, or toys & other things, if any (3) updated information about your family (4) other relevant information especially pictures and write-ups of our ancestors, particularly that of Miguel, Cornelio, Numeriano and Evaristo.
