Dear Fallarme Family:

Greetings to you and all members of your family!

At the outset, we would like to ask you to take some minutes of your precious time to read this first Circular preferably with all the members of your family as you treat it with urgency and importance while giving your utmost attention for there are some key points that you need to take into account and actions that need to be taken immediately.

We take the pleasure of informing you that at long last the most awaited FALLARME GRAND REUNION is going to be held on May 4-7, 2000 at Concepcion (Sibale), Romblon. The chosen theme for this event is "STRENGTH IN UNITY".

The reunion involves and will be participated by all the four (4) original clans of Fernando, Cornelio, Evaristo and Numeriano; the siblings of the first family Miguel Fallarme.

The Organizing Committee, the Working Committees and every member thereof are leaving no stone unturned to make this momentous event a great success. We have designed programs and activities to ensure that everyone of us will be able to participate regardless of age, enjoy each other?s company, have fun and this event perhaps 'AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME' that may not come our way again. We have in store for you several amenities and attractions, some of which are:

• Free accommodation * welcome snacks * free dinner on the first night * fireworks display * group interaction and fellowship * hiking and nature trekking * singing and dancing every night * games and sports for all ages * daily raffles * free souvenirs * talent presentations from each family/clan * medical and dental missions * distribution of used/unused clothing, new and used toys, eyeglasses and other give-away * island tour * whole day picnic with free sumptuous lunch * drinks, ihaw-ihaw, lechon and roasted calf to booth and much, much more * a very enticing grand raffle prize awaits the lucky family * special recognition / awards to deserving Fallarmes

Indeed, this is the best opportunity to gather together in one place, at one time free from the hustle and bustle of daily life, meet all the Fallarmes, renew our relationships and strengthen our bond and welcome with greater enthusiasm and hope the coming of the new millennium and with in, the birth of a new breed of FALLARMES. For the children and especially those who will be there for the first time, they will surely enjoy Sibale?s beautiful landscape, crystal ?clear waters and white beaches and the peace, tranquility, friendliness and hospitality of its people.

As we culminate this occasion, our goal is to leave a lasting legacy to every member of the FALLARME family and to the Sibale community by way of a modest undertaking that we can sustain in the years to come. Our vision is to be a strong force for the good our family and our community.

Of course, the ultimate success of this event rests upon each and every one of us, through our active participation, wholehearted support and cooperation, unwavering commitment and relentless effort. This will therefore require your time, talents, energy and resources; a small sacrifice that we assume you will be just too willing to share.

At this juncture, we would like to update you in what we have taken up so far:

1. ORGANIZATION (Refer to Annex 1)

1. Organizing Committee -  responsible for the overall planning of the reunion, reviews regularly its implementation, establish policies and procedures, introduce changes or adjustments if necessary and supervises the Working Committees. Membership of this Committee comes from ??????
2. ???????????..
3. Family Representatives - the designated member or his alternate acts as the coordinator for the family or group of families assigned to him. They will represent their group in all meetings where their presence is required.

1. FUNDING

1. Pledges from each family ? it was agreed that every family should contribute a minimum of P3, 000 each. (Every married children whether living or not with his/her parents is considered a family). Members' abroad shall contribute at least $100.00 per family. Unmarried children of legal age with gainful employment or income shall contribute P500 each. Of course, we appeal to those who can afford to give more as we will subsidize those who cannot afford to make any monetary contribution. Our aim is for everyone to be able to attend, even if they do not have financial means to do so.
2. Raffle draws - booklets of P200.00 each (with 10 tickets) or P20.00 per ticket will be distributed anytime from the date of this circular. We shall have 3 big raffle draws: June 12, September 18 and December 19, 1999.
3. Bingo Socials - to coincide with general assemblies (to be announced)
4. Christmas party - December 1999

The challenge that we are facing now is to appreciate the long-term value of this historic event and to work together to ensure its realization and success. In view thereof, we are requesting you to do the following:

1. Share this Circular to every member of your family
2. Contact your nearest relatives about this event and get their commitment to participate and attend this reunion. Furnish them copies of this Circular and the attachments, if necessary
3. Accomplish the attached information sheet and reply form and sent immediately to the address given
4. Block-off the above dates in your calendar
5. Volunteer your services as Chairperson or member of the Working Committee
6. Send your pledges now (partial or full) if possible to the Treasurer of the Organizing Committee who will issue you an acknowledgement receipt
7. Start collecting clothing and toys if you have and/or solicit them from your friends
8. Start soliciting prizes for raffles and other give-away
9. Attend meetings of the Committee regularly
10. Practice your talents in singing, dancing, sports and the like as we will ask you to show them
11. Be in constant touch with your family representative or any of the Chairperson of Working Committees or member of the Organizing Committees for updates
12. Include this reunion in your daily prayers

In closing, we cannot overemphasize the need for us to unite, be in close contact, work together and look forward with joyful expectation the realization of this rare opportunity to be counted and be part of ONE BIG HAPPY, UNITED FALLARME! We owe it not just to ourselves, but first to our parent and forebears who worked so very hard during their lifetime to leave a lasting legacy for all of us to be proud of, and also most importantly, to our children and our children?s children and the future generation of Fallarmes who are looking to us to model, pass on and uplift the legacy we have inherited.
